Parking

Triple Bypass

The easiest solution to parking on the morning of the Triple is to have someone drop you off. Parking is extremely limited in Evergreen. Absolutely no parking at drop-off locations. Buchanan Park (the start) is closed to all vehicles.

RIDER DROP OFF AREAS:

PARKING IN EVERGREEN:

There are several lots in Evergreen to park. All lots will allow you to leave your car Saturday night and pick it up Sunday morning. Park in designated lots or to the right of the white line on roadways (Bergen Parkway prohibited). Do not park near businesses or homes. Vehicles that are impeding traffic will be ticketed or towed. Please respect our neighbors. Do not park in no-parking zones.

HELPFUL RESOURCES

Spectators/SUPPORT CREW

For the safety of our riders, personal support vehicles are not allowed on the course for any reason. If you want your friends and family to meet you along the course, we have three designated locations for spectators. Do not enter the aid station areas. Stand safely to the side of the road or path, bring your cowbells, and cheer on the dedicated riders at these locations:

The Triple Bypass is a closed route. Law enforcement will close roads and not allow anyone besides registered riders and authorized personnel on the course. Those with support vehicles on the course will have their numbers pulled and will no longer be considered participants.

The bike route from Evergreen to Avon is different from the car route. Spectators will drive west on I-70 to get to Avon and the designated spectator locations.

PARKING IN AVON (FINISH LINE)

The closest public parking to the finish area is the Bear Lot. The Town of Avon will run shuttles from the finish to this lot during the event. It’s also a short bike ride or walk. Additional parking is dispersed throughout the town center with a variety of on-street parking lots and parking structure spaces available on a first-come, first-served basis. Look out for Avon’s parking signs with easy-to-read blue circles and “P” designation. Please do not attempt to park near the finish line venue.

Course Maps

*Note - slight change to this year’s course - because of construction, we will not be riding over Swan Mountain. Instead, we are losing some elevation, gaining a couple of miles, and riding around Lake Dillon.

Evergreen to Avon

The classic Triple is a bucket-list event across the nation, and for good reason. Leaving from Evergreen, CO, we travel over Juniper, Loveland and Vail pass. Pure gorgeous.

All riders receive a limited edition jersey or t-shirt, full support, a big ol’ medal, five aid stations, and a finish party including food and beer.

START LOCATION Buchanan Park in Evergreen, Colorado.

SHORTER, BUT TOTALLY SWEET

[Empire to Avon]

At 8am law enforcement will lead all Double riders the approximately 2 mile distance from Empire to the merge with the Triple Bypass course and continue over Loveland and Vail Passes for a challenging ride into Avon. Not quite ready for the full Triple? This one is for you. It's still not easy, but worth every mile.

All riders receive a limited edition jersey or t-shirt, full support, a big ol’ medal, three aid stations, and finish party including food and beer.

START LOCATION: Empire, Colorado.

Cut Off times

Due to safety, permit, medical, and law enforcement requirements, any rider who does not make it to the aid station by the cutoff times will have their number noted by staff, and they will no longer be considered a participant. We have roaming SAG vehicles and shuttles available to the finish line if needed. Please ensure your supporters, friends, or family know of these cutoff times.

If you choose to disregard our cutoff times, you are no longer a Triple Bypass rider. You must have a phone on you and be carrying lights. The finish line area will be closed by 8 p.m.  Please communicate with those who may be waiting for you. We strongly recommend that you plan and train accordingly for your own safety. Cut-off times are enforced.

  • Start, Evergreen 8:00 am

  • Aid 2, East of Georgetown 12:00 pm

  • Aid 3, Loveland Ski Area 2:00 pm

  • Aid 4, Summit High School 4:30 pm

  • Aid 5, Vail Pass 7:00 pm

Bag Drop

In your packet, you will receive a free rider bag. Use this bag to transport essentials (clothes, a towel, eye drops, lip balm) from the start to the finish in Avon. Write your rider number clearly on your bag and leave it with the fine folks at the start of the ride. Do not include your wallet, keys, phones or any other valuables in this bag.

TRIPLE BYPASS

Rider bag drop off is at Buchanan Park in Evergreen from 5:00 am to 7:30 am. Look for the large truck and signs near the port-a-potties.

DOUBLE BYPASS

Rider bag drop off is available at the Double start in Empire from 7:00 am to 7:45 am.

THIS IS NOT LUGGAGE SERVICE. Looking to move luggage? Summit Cycle Solutions does that.

ON COURSE SUPPORT

All aid stations will have a variety of sweet and salty snacks, water, and Tailwind hydration. Gluten-free options will be available. Fill up your bottles, grab a snack, and keep moving! Tailwind is a high-calorie hydration drink, so we will not offer gels on the course. If you like gels, please plan to bring what you need.

Sample Menu: Tailwind, trail mix, bananas, mandarin oranges, baked goods, oranges, turkey or veggie wrap (Loveland only, vegan available, ask a volunteer), chips, soda. Sure, there’s some junk food. But you’re earning it. If you have specific dietary restrictions, please plan to bring additional food.

Absolutely no personal rider support or vehicles are allowed in the aid station areas. Riders who ignore this will have their number pulled and will no longer be considered a Triple Bypass Rider.

AID STATION LOCATIONS

Tailwind Nutrition: The Perfect Fuel for the Triple Bypass

We’re thrilled to welcome Tailwind Nutrition as the official endurance fuel of this year’s Triple Bypass! Born in the Colorado Rockies and crafted by athletes who know what it takes to crush big climbs, Tailwind is the ideal fuel for your ride. Their Endurance Fuel delivers calories, electrolytes, and hydration all in one—so there’s no need for gels, bars, or chews. Just sip, ride, and repeat.

Even better? Tailwind Endurance Fuel will be available at all aid stations along the course, so you can refill and refuel with confidence.

Train with it. Ride with it. Trust it to get you to the finish line.

MECHANICAL SUPPORT

OFFICIAL SUPPORT VEHICLES

Official support vehicles (SAG) will be available for riders needing assistance throughout the day. Be prepared to provide dispatch with your approximate location and reason for calling (i.e., mechanical, need a ride, or emergency). SAG vehicles are instructed to always move riders forward. They will not return you to the previous aid station. Any SAG taken after Aid 2 will take you directly to the finish.

Mechanical support provided by Mike’s Bikes and The Pro’s Closet for tire fixes and simple adjustments will be available at all aid stations. If you have a mechanical issue during the event and are unable to proceed to the next aid station, call SAG dispatch [303.961.6526] and a support vehicle will pick you up as soon as possible.

MEDICAL SUPPORT

The ride is supported by a large medical team. You will find a First Aid tent at all Aid Stations as well as roving medical support in vehicles and on bikes on course. If you need medical assistance, please call the SAG number 303.961.6526. It is critical that ALL riders are registered and ride under their own names, and that they provide us with updated emergency contact information. Please do not ‘give’ your number plate to another person; this is for their safety. Anyone discovered riding with another person’s plate will be removed from the course, and the person who gave it to them will not be allowed to ride the Triple Bypass again. Please cool with this requirement.

PERSONAL SUPPORT

The Triple Bypass is a closed route. Under no circumstances can any vehicles be on the course with you. Public access is only allowed at Aid #4.  Those who have support vehicles on the course will have their numbers pulled and will no longer be considered a participant. This is for the safety of all riders. Friends and family are still welcome to meet their riders along the way if they access the route on foot from non-closed roadways. See Spectators

Finish Line Party

Festivities from 12 pm-7:30 pm

  • All riders will receive a delish Wahoo’s burrito, a N/A beverage and a refreshing beer from Wilding Brands Beer. We encourage friends and family to join us at the finish line celebration. A limited number of friends/family meal tickets will be available for purchase at the Triple Bypass tent.

GEAR EXCHANGE - At the Primal Tent

  • We have a limited supply of Triple gear available for purchase at the finish line. If your jersey or gear does not fit and your size is available, we are happy to exchange it at the finish. No exchanges can be made at packet pick-up or before the event. If you registered late and didn’t get the size you wanted, here is the place to see if one is available.

PET POLICY

  • We love our furry friends as much as you do, but dogs are prohibited in Nottingham Park during this event. Please leave your pooch at home.

  • Rider pick-up location at PNC BANK. 11 W Beaver Creek Blvd Avon, CO 81620

  • Absolutely NO PARKING here. The area will be monitored, so in and out!

LOST AND FOUND

  • Lost and Found will be located at the Shift Events Tent.

PARKING IN AVON (FINISH LINE)

  • The closest public parking to the finish area is the Bear Lot. The Town of Avon will run shuttles from the finish to this lot during the event. It’s also a short bike ride (<5 minutes). Additional parking is dispersed throughout the town center with a variety of on-street parking lots and parking structure spaces available on a first come, first served basis. Look out for Avon’s parking signs with easy-to-read blue circles and “P” designation. Please do not attempt to park near the finish line venue.

Register

SOLD OUT

All entries include a custom 2026 Triple Bypass jersey, stocked aid stations, full ride support and SAG, finish line beer and food, bragging rights, and a big ‘ol congratulatory medal to swing around your neck.

Refund Policy

YOUR TRIPLE BYPASS ENTRY IS NONREFUNDABLE

You will see optional rider cancellation coverage offered by a third party available for purchase during registration. The optional insurance generally covers accidents and illness leading into the event. The optional is not a ‘change my mind policy’. It does not cover change of plans, lack of training, minor injuries, general sickness, bad weather day etc. Please consider purchasing additional rider insurance if you would like extra peace of mind and check the policy limitations before you purchase.

[No exceptions. Please don’t email us and ask for a refund. It is unfair to those who invested in insurance, and we hate being the bad guy. We have provided a number of options for you.]

DEFER TO 2027

no longer available

If your plans change, you may defer your entry for a fee until June 26, 2026. The fee is paid when you defer, and you will not be charged when you sign up in 2027. Deferrals are good for one year only.

Deferrals are not transferable; they are for you to return and finish what you started.

If you defer, you do not get a 2026 jersey.

To process a deferral, log in to your RunSign-up Dashboard and click DEFER

A note about our deferral fee: This fee is designed to help us manage the financial impact of deferrals. It covers the ongoing costs we incur over two years and accounts for potential price increases in the subsequent year. As a non-profit organization, our aim is not to generate profit from this fee, but rather to safeguard the event's financial stability so we can continue our mission of supporting other non-profits.

Please understand that injuries or medical issues do not qualify for an exception to the deferral fee. During registration, you were offered a chance to purchase the optional insurance, as many have done, to protect themselves in such situations. Granting exceptions would be unfair to those who made the proactive choice to secure this coverage.

change distance

No longer available

June 14 - Last day to change your distance. Please do not plan to start at the Double if you signed up for the Triple. We have limited parking at the Double and all Double riders will receive a parking pass.

There is NO public resale of entries, and you may not transfer your entry.
